E-Textile Metamaterials: Stop Band Pass Filter

In this paper, the utilization of common fabrics for manufacturing e-textile metamaterial is investigated. The proposed design based on a transmission line loaded with split-ring resonators (SRRs) cotton substrate filter signal application. provides stop band between 2.7 GHz and 4.7 GHz, considering four stage SRR topology. Experimental results showed levels higher than −30 dB compact embroidered e-textiles. validated confirmed embroidery as useful technique to obtain customized electromagnetic properties, such transmitted filtering control, wearable tech device applications.
